I laughed, jumping away from Eddie's waving finger and then grabbing at his hand to pull it down from my face. There was something in his realization, excitement in his tone, his entire stance, and it only fuelled my own excitement.

And my anxiety, a little, but at least it was mostly anticipation.

"I packed for you," I answered, proud that he hadn't caught on to that. "I brought the bags up here earlier today. We have everything we need and we can order room service."
