Magnus knows that there's a line here that he cannot cross. He can be Jamie's confidante and advisor, but as his friend, there are limitations. He's much, much older than the young man and showing too much interest definitely strays into the land of creepy, and no one wants that.

So instead of asking for more details, he gives Jamie an almost proud smile and a wink.
