"I don't know what any of that means," I said with a laugh, but I had an easier time admitting things like that. The more time I spent in Darrow, the more I understood it was okay that I didn't have all the answers. No one did. There was so much left out there for everyone to learn and I was happy to be learning it, but I felt there would always be one more thing. One more question I didn't know the answer to.

My smile grew wider still when Magnus said we could use the pool and I squirmed happily in my seat for just a moment. "Thank you," I said, very genuinely pleased.
